At the center of the action is Newport Shipyard. With the biggest lifts, cleanest facilities, and the most dock space in town - as well as a full-service yard, ship store, restaurant and fitness center all right on the harbor front - Newport Shipyard has become New England's yachting hub, attracting the best boats on the East Coast. But, you don't have to take our word for it - The American Boatbuilders and Repairers Association (ABBRA) named Newport Shipyard North America's "2009 Boatyard of the Year!"

At Newport Shipyard, we're boat people too, and every facet of our operation is geared towards enhancing and promoting life on the water. We have hosted America's Cup events, a Volvo campaign and countless other major regattas and boat shows, along the way becoming the port of call for some of the industry's biggest movers and shakers. So whether you're a mega-yacht needing a refit, a cruiser looking for a summer base, a racer campaigning the regatta circuit or a transient just looking for a great place to tie up, your search is over!

Newport Shipyard is Newport's only and oldest working yacht and shipyard located downtown on Newport Harbor and for our guests a launch ride to any of Newport's fine waterfront restaurants and yacht clubs. While we are the oldest yard on the waterfront, you won't find a cleaner, more modern or more secure transient facility in New England.

Newport Shipyard features a complete list of amenities, which include showers, laundry facilities, complimentary wireless Internet throughout the Shipyard and courtesy golf carts. A computer station is located in Belle’s Café where we serve breakfast & lunch. We also have a North Sails pick-up/drop-off service.
