Three Belles Marina is located on pristine Smith Cove, just minutes from the quaint village of Niantic, a seaside community of East Lyme, Connecticut and just a few miles from Interstate 95.

We are a family-owned and operated, full-service marina catering to your every boating need. No matter what type of boater you are, we are committed to keeping you on the water. No matter what your interest—wet slip, inside or outside valet rack service, mooring, dryland trailer, Jetski, or kayak—we have the right space for you. We have certified mechanics on staff seven days a week and are an authorized Mercury Marine and Suzuki Marine dealer. Our new Marine Outfitters Store carries the full line of Hobie Cat Kayaks and accessories as well as a wide range of apparel including Guy Harvey and RailRiders Outdoor Adventure Gear.

Our protected cove is only minutes from the Long Island Sound and some of the best boating and fishing grounds on the eastern seaboard. Come take a look for yourself.

Three Belles Marina offers 150 fixed and floating slips and can accommodate vessels up to 55 feet. All of our docks are very well maintained and each slip comes equipped with water and power, from 30 to 50 amps. In addition, all dockage includes wireless internet access as well as use of our pool, the picnic tables on the green, the gas grills and bathroom and shower facilities.

We want you to feel at home! We welcome transients and will do our best to accommodate your specific needs, both sail and power. Our docks are well lit at night and our bathrooms and shower facilities are clean and well maintained. As a transient you have access to the entire facility including our pool, the picnic tables, gas grills and for the fishermen – our fish cleaning station.

Our summer season runs from April 15th to October 15th, however, many of our die hard fishermen are able to stay in the water a little bit longer. Our winter season runs from October 15th to April 15th.

Construction of 16,000 sq. ft. valet rack storage building was completed in the fall of 2007. This new facility offers boating enthusiasts easy access to the water and the peace of mind that can only be achieved by a fully enclosed, weather-tight structure. We can accommodate 72 boats up to 30+ feet in length year round.

During the summer season your boat will be launched and waiting for you on demand. Upon returning, your boat will be hauled rinsed with fresh water and returned to the safety of the rack building. Should you need to work on your boat we have plenty of ground service stands for your use, each of which has power and water nearby.

In addition, we can provide inside winter storage for larger boats on a limited basis. Center aisle must launch by April 30.

Winter Indoor rates for large boats stored in the center aisle include:

•dust cover
•wash and wax hull
•light sand and paint bottom
•change hull and running gear zincs (labor only - parts extra)

New outdoor valet racks that can accommodate as many as 50 vessels up to 35’ were installed during the summer of 2008 right across from the Valet Rack Building. Our outdoor racks offer boaters a convenience of a valet service at a great price!

During the summer season your boat is launched on demand and upon your return the boat is rinsed with fresh water and put back on the rack. Should you need to work on your boat, we have a number of ground stands that may be used. Each stand has water and power nearby.

Dry land trailered boats are a convenient yet economical way to enjoy boating. The dry land boater has a designated “land slip” in our yard for boat and trailer. Rather than keeping your boat at home and having to drive it each time to the local launch ramp, leave it with us and launch it at our private ramp.

Dry land boats have water and power nearby and our customers can wash down and work on their boats as necessary. We can accommodate 30 vessels up to 26 feet in length.

Three Belles offers moorings at the marina in Smith Cove. Our moorings are for shallow draft vessels and offer a very low cost alternative to keeping your boat in the water. Smith Cove is very well protected yet only minutes from open water.

In addition to our own moorings, we also fabricate complete mooring setups and service our customers' moorings through our Mooring Service Program. Our pontoon boat is used to set and retrieve moorings throughout the surrounding Niantic Bay area.

Our private launch ramp is available to the public for $15.00 which includes launching, parking for the day and hauling. A seasonal pass can also be purchased should you wish to have unlimited use of the ramp during the summer season. Launch ramp customers also have access to our fish cleaning station and to freshwater hose hookups to rise the boat and trailer after use.

Why keep your trailer at home when you can leave it with us for the season? Three Belles will store your trailer and in the summer you will have access to it should you need it. All we ask is you give us some notice so we may make it available.

For boaters who plan to keep their boat but just can’t launch it this summer or for those of you who are in the process of selling, we have both short-term and long-term storage options available. With over 6 acres of flat parking lot, we are able to accommodate you and your vessel.

As a full-service yard we can also help you maintain your boat or make the necessary repairs or improvements that may be needed to sell your boat at the best possible price!
