I have grown up on the water and joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 1986 and retired in 2006. In my Coast Guard career I drove Search and Rescue Boats and navigated larger vessels. I started out my career on an Ice Breaker and drove the ships small boats. Following that tour I drove Rescue Boats in New York during that tour I attended and graduated at the top of my class from the National Motor lifeboat in Washington. I then was a Deck Watch Officer on a Patrol Boat in Florida. After an office job in California I returned to Rescue Boats in Marathon, Fl. After Retiring I went to work for Sea Ray Boats where I was a water Test Captain in the yacht division. I conducted the waterside testing and then delivered the yachts to Delivery Captains or Delivered the yachts to ports as close as Fort Lauderdale and as far as Houston Texas. I teach Boating Safety with the Coast Guard Auxiliary and Team Coordination Training a Mishap Reduction program through the U.S. Coast Guard. My number one priority is safety of the vessel, crew and passengers. I will make every effort to ensure a good time by all without comprising safety. I will treat the vessel as if it were my own. Out at sea your vessel is your Island and you need to protect it against all odds. I have a Master 100-ton Coastal License and looking to further my Maritime Career.
