The Forum wouldn't let me post a reply to your question, so I'm answering in a new message to tell you about a simple product to improve liveaboard life.

We lived in marinas and "on the hook" in FL and the Bahamas for many years. Like so many other sailors, we were frustrated by the need to close everything up when it rained, creating a less-than-comfortable cabin. So several years later (after we moved back on land) we came up with PortVisors, rain shields for opening ports. They let air in but keep out rain -- attaching without any drilling or tools.

Our company has sold them for boats from Australia to Puerto Rico and countless places in-between. We're very proud to have made boaters' lives more comfortable.

Please cruise on over to our website for more info and to see photos of them installed on boats.
